Sociology explores every facet of our society-- from the criminal justice system to notions of self to local cultures and concepts of sovereignty. Many who do not formally identify as "sociologists," are, in fact, some of the key players doing important sociological work, particularly in Hawai'i. HSA's 2023 Annual Conference bridges the separation between formal and informal social scientists, and creates a space for interdisciplinary dialogues about our social world. Join in as we break down the borders of academic fields and share new perspectives and research.
